Christopher Datta

Mr. Datta is the author of four novels, Touched with Fire, The Demon Stone, Fire and Dust and A Perfect Disguise.  He has written two movie scripts and a memoir, Guardians of the Grail: A Life of Diplomacy on the Edge.  His true story of the dog he adopted in South Sudan, Run Scout Run, was published in 2019. Finally, he has written two children’s books, Christopher Fries an Egg and Christopher Catches a Fish, illustrated by Christine Vineyard.  

Mr. Datta is a graduate of the University of Minnesota. He spent his career as an American Diplomat and was first assigned to southern India for two years.  From there he went on to a host of assignments, specializing in conflict zones. He helped negotiate an end to two wars and brought two war criminals to justice.
